Enabling works start at Coolkeeragh ESB
Coolkeeragh ESB today issued requests for expression of interest for the enabling civil works at the power station at Coolkeeragh.
Michael Aherne, Coolkeeragh ESB, which recently submitted planning application to build a £150m gas-fired power station, said: "We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced contractors to clear the site. We have place an advertisement to this end in the Official Journal of the European Communities as well as the local papers with a return date for tenders by 13 th July 2001. We hope to have appoint soon as we are keen to progress the project."
The gas-fired power station in the NorthWest is recognised as being the only way of developing a natural gas industry for the people and businesses of Northern Ireland.
